Father’s Day: A Tribute

I had a great dad. He taught me to love my Heavenly Father. And as a Christian man this is what you are called to live: a life like Jesus. To love and cherish your family, just as Christ Jesus loved the church and gave His life for it. 

As a single mom of four children, raising them without a dad was not easy. My own dad helped a lot in this area. Today, he is no longer with us. I miss him and love him and am so grateful for all he did for me and my family.

My daughter texted me this morning and said happy Father’s day to me. She said “You were a good mother and father to us, I love you.”

Thanks to my dad.

And thank you to our Heavenly Father, who provides for us all a perfect example of Love.
