Healing or Miracle

Typically when we talk of healing, that comes gradually. I have been sick lately, and it has been taking a long time to get better- very slowly, but I feel a little better each day. I get weak spells and can hardly stand up or lift my arms. I have had a low-grade fever for about five weeks, as of today my fever is finally going down again. I could not eat or drink without becoming sick, so they gave me medicine to help with that. I feel stronger everyday, and thank everyone for their prayers and the help of my family that took great care of me. We must continue in prayer and trust in Jesus to take us through. My healing has been gradual.

Sometimes though, we are healed instantly, as it speaks on in today’s verses from Matthew, which can be called a miracle. It depends on what Jesus has chosen for us at that time. He will use different experiences to draw us closer to Him and teach us great lessons of His mighty power and help us to see Him as He truly is. Just submit and trust in Him and you will see miracles.

Isaiah 53:5

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Psalm 103:2-3

2-Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:

3-Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.

Exodus 15:26

And He said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”

Jeremiah 30:17

“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord..

Matthew 8:16-17

16-When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possed, and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick

17-that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”
