Mercy and Grace

God is our Heavenly Father, and He sees every tear. He wants to give us good gifts, just as we want to help our own children no matter what-even when they do not deserve it.

One time when my daughter was very young, she got measles. They spread all over her body and down her throat. Jesus woke me up from my sleep and showed me to take her to the hospital because she was choking and unable to breathe from the swelling. When we got to the hospital they took her right in because they saw how serious her condition was. They gave her medicines and took good care of her. I am so glad I obeyed His command to move quickly, and thankfully, she fully recovered.

His mercy endures forever.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace help in time of need.

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Psalm 86:5 & 7

5-For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.

7-In the day of my trouble I will call upon Thee: for Thou wilt answer me.

Psalm 6:2

Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Jeremiah 17:14

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for Thou art my praise.

Matthew 9:27-30

27-And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, crying, and saying, “Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.”

28-And when He was come into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus saith unto them, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” They said unto him, “Yea, Lord.” 29-Then touched He their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it unto you.”

30-And their eyes were opened…

Luke 17:12-14

12-And as He interred into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13-And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”

14-And when He saw them, He said unto them, "Go shew yourselves unto the priests.” And it came to pass, that as they went, they were cleansed.
