At the Cross

Often in life, we find ourselves searching for strength, yet we forget where our true victory actually lies. It is easy to lose our way, but the Bible reminds us that our triumph was won long ago-at the Cross of Jesus Christ.

This is why studying the Word and staying in prayer is so vital. The enemy often tries to pull us away from these truths because he knows our victory comes through the knowledge the Holy Spirit gives us. God is always there to guide us through our problems if we simply go to Him; He truly meets every need.

I am so thankful for where He took me from to where I am today. For a long time, I didn’t realize that at the Cross was the place I received victory in my life. Before surrendering my heart at the foot of the Cross, Satan tried to destroy my life through sin. I had lost all hope, and then, Jesus came in and met me with His tender love.

My book, available at the “My Book” tab above, talks more in depth of how bad of a place I was in before Jesus, and how only He brought me through to victory. Now, I just want to proclaim what Jesus has done! He already won the battle through His suffering and spiritual warfare. Today, we stand victorious, rooted in what He has already done for us all.

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Colossians 2:15

And having spoiled principalities and powers, He [Jesus] made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

John 16:33

[Jesus said] These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Luke 10:19

[Jesus said] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
