Mistakes

As we look back and see our errors, let us learn from the past so we do not continue making the same missteps. When we give our hearts to Jesus, He wipes away our sins, and He never remembers them again-throwing them in the ocean of forgetfulness. This shows how great His love is for us. Too often there are people in our lives who will remember our mistakes, and never let us forget them. Don’t let this drag you down; if you have repented to the Lord, you are forgiven. Satan likes to use our past against us, to hurt and discourage us. We need to rebuke him and remember how when we gave our hearts to Jesus we became a new creation and should not let our past define us any longer. This does not mean our mistakes and our sins do not have consequences here on Earth, it just means we are no longer separated from God. As we seek Jesus daily, He will guide our way toward sanctification and Heaven. He will reform us into His image as we align our will with His.

It doesn’t matter where you are in life, even in prison. If you give your life to Jesus and repent with your whole heart, He will save you; you are a new creature in Christ! He died for all, and He wishes for none to be left behind or perish in Hell, that is why He died on Calvary, so that we can have the opportunity to be saved and reunite with Him in Heaven. He gave His life willingly for us all.

As we continue to walk in Him, He guides and protects us. Our hearts become full of His joy and peace. No drugs or drinking or anything else can ever fill you with the peace of God, it is incomparable. Don’t wait for tomorrow, give your life to Jesus today! Repent of your sins and come into His love, you will never regret it. No matter what sins you have committed, He died for them all, and will forgive them all.

I knew a Mafia Godfather, who gave his heart to Jesus; I know he is forgiven and is in Heaven today. Sometimes as Christians we turn our backs on the undesirables, which is the wrong thing to do. Jesus loves them also and died for us all. We have all sinned and fallen short, but He died for all sins-big and small. This should lead us toward compassion for the lost, as we were once lost. Let us remember the Lord’s prayer, to forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us. We have the victory over sin through Him!

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 103:12

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us.

Proverbs 24:16

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again…

Isaiah 1:18

[Thus saith the Lord] Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
