Walk in God’s Love

We are sinners saved by mercy and grace. Let us build each other up. Let us not live unto ourselves, as Christians who are strong in faith ought to crucify the feelings of their flesh. We are to focus on God’s promises rather than overwhelming circumstances. It’s about letting God’s hope transform our inner state and outer actions, turning our feelings from self to powerful, contagious confidence in Him. Let us work in harmony with one another according to His Word. Welcome one another, as Christ welcomed us, for His glory.

He is a God of encouragement, so let us encourage one another. So we maybe as Paul, to be all things to all people, not to offend, but to be patient to lead them into Jesus. Let us break down walls of religion and denomination, and build walls of love and truth, so we may pull people out of the grips of hell.

When I was first saved, He showed me to stop using nail polish. It wasn’t because nail polish is sinful, but as a personalized lesson of surrender to Him. Each day I learned to surrender my flesh and in doing so grow closer to Him. Years down the road, when I was fully under His surrender, He restored my use of nail polish.

I want to draw people to see Jesus, not by condemning them, but by leading them in love to the throne of grace and salvation. The Holy Spirit will lead us on how to deal with the lost people around us. God knows every heart, and He will guide us into all truth to help the lost; through His love we can reach the unloving. Pauls calls believers who are strong in the faith to carry the weak, not criticize them. Let us bear the infirmities; let us walk in love and maturity, remembering that unity and harmony among believers isn’t about “sameness”, it’s about a deep, shared love for Christ.

Romans 15:1-3

1-We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2-Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.

3- For even Christ pleased not Himself; but, as it is written, “the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.”

John 13:35

[Jesus said] By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another.

1 John 3:16

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
