We Have Chains On Our Minds

Satan wants to chain us to our past, through our thoughts and our minds, by lying to us and manipulating the nature of our flesh to keep us from serving Jesus with all our heart and soul. Satan wants us to forget that victory has already been won by Jesus on the cross of Calvary. Let us keep our eyes on the things above and not walk in our flesh, for that can destroy us with earthly desires. Sometimes our adversary the Devil tries to place fear, doubts, discouragement, temptation, and lies in our minds to distract and distance us from the will of God in our lives. Through Jesus Christ, we do not have to remain bound. God has given us His Word and His Spirit so that we can stand in the freedom of truth. Jesus breaks the chains that our minds cannot break alone. We must surrender our thoughts to Jesus, or Satan will do everything in his power to make us believe we are hopeless. Let us stand upon God’s Word and walk in the freedom He has given us! Freedom is not free, but Jesus paid the price for us, let it not be wasted. Amen!
