The Past
God loves us because He is love. We are His creation. Through His love and mercy He came to save us, not to condemn us. It is Jesus' will to love us because it was the will of the Father. His love is His desire for us all to have eternal life in Him. Jesus chose us because He loved us, not because of anything we did. His love is sacrificial, unconditional, and eternal. I often wonder about how great God and Jesus really loved me before I became saved and was in sin.
Thank you, my Heavenly Father, your Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for loving me.
He loves you, too! Give your heart to Him, you will never regret it. Ask him to come into your heart today and repent of your sins, no matter what they are, and follow Him from now on. He is waiting for your call.

But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
