How Does God’s Mercy See Us?
When we make the decision to give our life to God, He removes our sins from us and sees us as clean. This cleanliness in God is accomplished through the sacrificial blood of His Son, Jesus, who died at calvary for us all. Jesus lived a sinless life on Earth, which allowed Him to be the perfect, willing sacrifice to restore humanity to their maker, God the Father. We are made clean and new through Him.
It is important to understand that while we are forgiven, He did not say we would now be problem free in life. He just promised to take us through to the other side. We are also not perfect; we fail and fall sometimes, but we should not actively live in sin everyday once we are saved.
The Holy Spirit is with us and He will shine God’s light on us so we can see our sins and faults. We can ask the Holy Spirit to help us in our weak areas in our life, so we can be better. Just cry out to Jesus to help. I have done that many times when I was weak and fell. I didn’t stay down; Jesus came with arms of love and picked me up and helped me to my feet. He knows my heart and how broken I was.
Satan will attack us at our lowest point and say “you are not good; God doesn’t want you; you are messed up”. He is a liar! As long as we repent, God’s arms are open to us and forgiveness is ours if we ask. No matter how messed up we feel, through His blood He renews us and turns us into His image one step at a time. Changes will come forth in Jesus' name; scripture teaches us this. As we go forward and grow in Him, the desires of our flesh are stripped away through His love and mercy.
We are God’s children, if we ask for bread will He give us a stone? No, not even an Earthly father would do such a thing to his children. Even more so does our Heavenly Father love and provide for us. He has compassion, forgiveness, and loving kindness. He sees us through eyes of love and mercy. Don’t let Satan lie to you anymore. Come to the Father and let Him show you how He sees you, as His beloved child.

Micah 7:18-19
18-Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity…because He delighteth in mercy.
19-He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us…and Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Psalm 51:1
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
