Feeling Low?
I was having a bad day and I saw this rock my granddaughter gave me; it is a rock shaped into a heart. It was her love which made her give this to me. It made me think of Jesus, as our rock of great love. I wasn’t feeling well and this little rock brought a smile to my face. I went to the Rock that is Christ and He said to me, “Stay in My love and faith, believe in Me and trust Me, for satan would like to sift you as wheat by telling you lies so you will drift away from Me. Rejoice for I am with you always, do not go by feeling or your faith can weaken.” He is right. I became weary in this old body of aches and pains, but knowing Jesus lives and He will take me through this world of ours brings me great joy and renewed strength. When we build our house on the solid Rock [Jesus], it will stand firm!
Matthew 7:24-25
24-[Jesus said] “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25-And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”
Luke 6:47-48
47-[Jesus said] “Whosoever cometh to Me, and heareth My sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48-He is like a man which built a house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
1 Corinthians 3:11
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
