The Failure Road
As Christians, we must always be aware of our own walk as well as other Christians walking and staying in line with the Bible. If not, we can be misled. Using the Bible as a guiding light allows us to follow the road God intends for us. It is like a mirror, showing us God’s image, and teaching us how to become more like Him in every new day.
We are warned there is the path that leads to destruction and the path that leads to life. When we are saved, it does not mean we will not make mistakes. Sometimes, we fall, but God is gracious and He gives us hope. Our failings are not final when we have the Lord, just turn back to Him. He knows we are made of dust. He created us. Let us thank Him for His tender love and mercy as we continue in our daily walk to be more like Him.
Proverbs 14:12
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Matthew 7:13-14
13-[Jesus said] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14-Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
James 1:23-25
23-For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24-For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25-But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Jeremiah 6:16
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…
Psalm 1:6
For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Proverbs 24:16
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
