He Will Take Care of You
Our lives are like a painting, and we are holding the brush. Not until I handed the brush over to Jesus and surrendered my will to Him so He could make me into His image and honor Him did my life change. It was through the working of the Holy Spirit, He could then guide me along His path of life.
There had been many trying times on my path, but I learned to trust in His way, and no matter what, He was there with me. From my first husband’s sad death, and then a hard divorce from a marriage I knew Jesus put together, it was very hard to understand it all. Some days I was lacking money for food or gas to take care of my children, but He always helped me through.
Whenever Jesus told me to go somewhere, I went, even if I had no place to stay. He always opened the door for me; I knew his voice was leading me. Many people were harsh and hurtful to me, but He comforted me. I never opened my mouth to defend myself as they were mocking me, saying "where's your Jesus now?” Right beside me!
I lived through a very bad hurricane. My neighbors evacuated, but Jesus said for us to stay. He protected my house, as He said He would, from the howling winds; only a storm window broke. We had no electricity or any way to get food for two weeks. But someone came with a cooler of food for me and the children. The trees were down and poles with wires, but our house was safe. Thank you, Jesus!
I just want to share how real and good my God is. He is there for each one of us, no matter what the circumstances, when we live for Him.
Matthew 6:25-26
25-[Jesus said] Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body more than raiment?
26-Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your Heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 41:10
[Thus saith the Lord] Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
