God’s Promises

God is faithful, even when we are unfaithful. He always fulfills His promises. He has perfect timing. His desire is to work out His purpose in our lives and see us grow in faith and character. Sometimes, what feels like a delay to us is actually God’s way of preparing us, protecting us, or working in ways we cannot see. We may not understand His timing; He sees the bigger picture, and He knows the best moment for His promises to be fulfilled. We must learn to trust in Him.

One promise from His Word that stays in my mind is from Romans 8:28, “all things work together for good to them that love God...” When I was younger in Christ, I had a lot of hard, trying times. I lost my husband while I was pregnant with our third child, and then went through a hard divorce, so it was hard for me to believe that promise. Hindsight has taught me differently. I know now that all I went through in my life has brought me to where I am today, blogging for Jesus to show the world how He took care of me and my children during those times. And how He still continues to carry me through even now. I pray my words touch your heart and you get to know Him better. His love for us is real and life-changing.

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good.

Joshua 23:14

…not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you,and not one thing hath failed thereof.

Romans 4:21

And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was also able to perform.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised.
