What God Has Done For Us!

We hear many sermons on how we should follow God, and that is very true. In today’s post, I want to focus on an alternative and equally important aspect of being a christian, that being all God has done for us. When we gave our hearts and lives to Christ, we became heirs with Him of God our Father; we inherited Heaven and the many blessings God gives to His children while they still walk the Earth. Let's not just think of our part for God, but instead think of what God’s part has been and still is for us, all of mankind.

There are many scriptures that talk about what God has done for us; the most valuable one being how He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place for our sins so that we can be reconciled with Him. Now, our part is to believe and trust in Him at all times. If we do so, He will keep us in His grace and mercy-which is innumerable. He actively works in our lives, by loving, guiding and strengthening us daily. He provides for our needs and works all things for our good in peace. He is patient and forgives and cleanses us. We are grateful!

My prayer for the Lord is to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, so that I may grow deeper in my walk and continually get to know Him better. Let us all have a relationship with the Master through prayer and His Word, always seeking His face. As years go by, you will see how He reveals Himself to the man and be filled with all the fullness of His love.

Romans 5:8

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

John 14:27

[Jesus said] Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you…
