He Washed Away My Tears
He washed away my tears and the scales from my eyes so I may see the real me. The hurts, disappointments, and loneliness, He took it all, so I may let Him into my heart and put down the wall that I hide behind. It allowed me to see Him in His full glory and in doing so, see myself how He sees me – loved. We must set aside our pride so we can see Him clearly. Let us surrender all in this flesh. As we give it all to Him, we can see our sinful nature and be transformed so we can enter into Heaven one day. He will wipe away all that makes us blind so now we can worship and fellowship with Him. Tenderly and sweetly He has cared for us in His great love. He was our substitute to save us from the punishment of our sinful and disobedient nature. Now, we are brand new in Him. We understand the price He paid, and I am here today rejoicing in Him, His love and His favor. He died for us; There is no greater love than we lay down our life for another. But He lives again, amen!
