When You Sin
The Bible tells us of how God forgives sin when a person goes to Him in sincere repentance and faith. Repentance involves turning from sin and going toward God and truth. He promises mercy and forgiveness to them who sincerely confess and trust in Him.
God sent His Son Jesus to the Earth as a willing sacrifice. He offered Himself to save us from the ramifications of sin, which is death and separation from God. He forgives all repented sins, no matter what the sins may be. Let us appreciate and love Him ever more for this great sacrifice, and for the opportunity to be rectified with our Lord and Creator. If you stay in our sin, choosing not to repent and seek the Father’s face, in the end it will cost your life, as you will not go to Heaven and be united with Christ Jesus. He does not intend for any to go to Hell, but His desire is for all to be led into truth through the guiding of His Holy Spirit, and to stay away from evil.
Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; He wants to lead us into Hell. Let us be cautious of his trickery, looking always to Christ to live a holy life, as God is holy. Do not be deceived that the Christian life is only filled with hardships. There are many benefits to walking Jesus’ way. He brings His guidance, peace, strength and many blessings to His children. Jesus has come to call sinners to repentance, for His love is so great for us all. We have the choice to walk away from sin and be delivered from the ramifications of Hell. Let us live our lives for God. If we follow Him we will not walk in darkness, for Jesus is the light of the world.
