Let Us Not Worship The Cross
We should not worship the Cross itself, but instead worship Jesus who hung on that cross for our salvation. Let us not worship the cross of wood, for Christ is no longer upon it. He is at the right hand of the Father, for He defeated death and has risen again! We should worship Him for what He has done for us all. The cross is so important; it reminds us of His sacrifice, His love, His mercy, and His victory over sin and death. It is a precious symbol we should honor in remembrance of what was accomplished there, but our heart’s praise and worship belongs only to the risen Savior. It was not for the wood of the cross, but through the power of God and willingness of Jesus Christ that He died, was buried, and rose again for our salvation. Our worship belongs to Him alone. Amen!
