Let us not look down at your problems or at the world around us all the time, but instead put your life in the hands of God The Father. Look up, look to where our help comes from! Let us keep our eyes on Jesus for He is in control of all; He is on His throne.
In my Christian walk, many times the Lord would remind me to lift my head. I learned eventually that when I lifted my head up, I would see Jesus instead of my problems or my past shortcomings . I know now I must keep my eyes on Him, keep my focus on Him, and keep my trust in Him. When we do this, He takes care of us. He is there at all times, even when we don’t understand or know what is working against us; He is ever present working on behalf of us.
We must realize it is not most important what is happening around us, but what is happening within us. Satan wants us to worry and antagonize us. When we put our trust in Jesus, Satan knows he is defeated and flees. I am so happy at this late stage in my life having learned so much in my walk with Christ. Let us put on the whole armor of God and stand on His Word. Jesus has a perfect plan for us, so let us continue in His trust. He will fill us with great joy, peace, and strength. Do not give up, instead look up!
Psalm 121:1-2
1-I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2-My help cometh from the Lord, which made Heaven and Earth.
Isaiah 26:3-4
3-Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.
4-Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.
Psalm 123:1-2
1-Unto Thee lift I up mine eyes, O Thou that dwellest in the Heavens.
2-Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that He have mercy upon us.
