Watch Out for the Liar
Satan is the great deceiver of all the nations and souls of man. He is the father of liars. So, we must stay alert and grounded in truth and remain close to God. The enemy of our soul works through deception, not openly but often subtly, so we must be very cautious. I have been very sick lately, and Satan was throwing all sorts of liars at me. He would tell me I was too weak to fight back, but it was at those moments that the Holy Spirit protected me. He would bring scripture verse after scripture verse to my mind to rebuke Satan’s lies. Satan put such fear in my mind and not until I cut him off saying, “I put my trust in Jesus!” did I find peace, and healing returned to me one day at a time. I was upset at myself for allowing Satan to deceive me, but I learned a good lesson and with it, I grew closer to Jesus. I learned it is not enough to just say words, but that we have to stand on them in faith, too. Let us stand strong in truth, and Satan will flee in the name of Jesus! Having done all to stand, just stand.
As a Christian, I am still learning and growing. Many can quote scripture, but when sickness and other disaster happens, how deep is the Word in your heart to fight Satan and truly claim God’s words? Surrender all in truth and cast down all imaginations against the wiles of the Devil. This blog is not to lift up Satan, but warn of his cunningness and deception, and to proclaim that he has already been defeated; Glory to my Lord, Christ Jesus who gives us victory against Satan! STAND STRONG!
