He knows My Name
There is such a profound peace in knowing that Jesus knows us each by name. He isn’t just a distant Creator; He is a personal Savior who knows our every thought, our every struggle, and even the deepest desires of our heart.
Recently, I have been praying and seeking the Lord’s guidance. As you may know, I wrote a book about my life and testimony of God bringing me through some very dark times. The Lord knows I am a giver and my desire is that if my book ever brings in a profit for Him to show me where it should go. I committed my life to Him many years ago and want to continue doing His work. Because He knows my heart, He knows my desire to support a faithful Christian organization-one that truly serves Him. I want to ensure that the legacy I leave behind continues to spread the love of Christ to those in their darkest hour, especially helping children and places where disaster strikes.
The Lord placed a beautiful confirmation in my heart about this through Matthew 6:32, “...for your Heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” I was so touched by His answer that I just sat in prayer and thanked Him. It was a reminder that He already knew what I was looking for before I even asked.
There are so many needs all around us, and Jesus wants us to help one another in true Christian love. If you are wondering how you can make a difference, I encourage you to simply ask Him. Take it to Him in prayer and ask what He wants you to do. He treasures us; He knows your name, He knows your gifts, and He will surely lead you to the right place!
