A Friend

It is so important to have good Christian friends and family who support you through hard times. I am still not feeling well, but I have people around me who encourage me through, not to give up. Sometimes I get so weary and have no body strength, but their prayers pull me through. Sometimes, I look in the mirror and do not recognize the person looking back. Then Jesus says, “Arise,” and puts a song in my heart once again! The words I needed weren't far away; they came from up above telling me, "Put on the whole armor of God and fight against the lies of the devil.” God is always there taking care of us, standing at our side, holding us up. He is the great I Am; He meets all our needs. He is the friend that is closer than a brother, and will send a friend our way exactly when we need them!

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, “Abba, Father.”
