When I Don’t Want to Trust

We can’t always change our feelings, but we can exercise our will. We can decide with our will to trust our Lord, even when our feelings want us not to. He reaches out in love, rescues us from ourselves, and makes us a pillar in His temple-strong and immoveable. In His mercy, He lifts us up and prepares the crooked road ahead of us. He makes it straight and takes us through to the other side, so hold on in His name because there is victory!

I myself don’t understand all things, but He does; I know trusting Him is the way to go. Jesus walked this Earth as a man, He experienced all things. He made it through, so can we with His help. Our Heavenly Father will never let us down, for he cares for all His children. He always stands on His Word which claims victory. When we put our trust in Him, He provides us with peace, strength, and joy as His servant.

Let us surrender all our hopes and dreams for this year and bow down, resting in Him for our future, looking toward Him for His guidance in all parts of our lives.
