Religion
There are many misunderstandings regarding religion. I will tell you this: Christianity is more than a religion, it is a relationship with God. Man was born in sin and must be recreated in the image of God, This is made possible for us through the cross of Christ. As we follow Jesus with all our hearts, we are crucifying the flesh and being formed more and more into His image daily. He is holy and we should be holy also; we walk in a newness of life.
Jesus is the answer for the problems of mankind. There is such joy and peace in serving the Lord. Many think that when you become a Christian, you are missing out on the things of life. The truth is that we gain so much more than we are giving up. Plus, we don’t want those things anymore, for that is part of the old life and now we are living a new life in Christ.
Before I was saved, I lived in an upside down world of Satan's wickedness. There was no substance, no foundation, I just drifted from one empty day to the next. Now, I have meaning, not just being superficial. Now, I have a solid foundation that gives assurance and confidence in my daily life.
Our Lord is real and alive.He is watching over us. He will guide us into all truth. We know our future is real and forthcoming in our Savior’s hands. We have free will, He will not force us to serve Him. He wants us to accept Him out of love.
I never knew much about it, but when I surrendered my heart to Him, He became so alive. I saw through new eyes what life is all about, how He created us for fellowship with Him. I found liberty through His Word. On calvary He shed His blood to wash away all our sins, and we can become white as snow before our Father’s eyes. I look back and see where He brought me from and where I am today. I am a new creature in Christ. I am clean and brand new. Salvation is through Him, not rituals, systems, or traditions themselves. We are to live as the Bible teaches, otherwise you are deceiving yourselves. We cannot just hear the Word, we must practice it in our lives. I hope by sharing my life changing event of salvation through Jesus Christ that you may be free yourselves. Amen!

John 10:27-28

Matthew 11:28-29
28-[Jesus said] Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29-Take My yoke upon your, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Galatians 2:20

1 John 5:12
