Behavior
The beginning of a new year is known for resolutions. One resolution every Christian should hold is to try and be more like Jesus in our daily lives. Do we practice what we preach? We can be the only Jesus that some people see. Being a Christian means we are to represent Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, as we walk on this Earth. You can mislead people by your actions, so proceed with caution and with God’s wisdom on your behavior. As we walk in life, think about Jesus being right there with us because He is. He sees and hears all, plus He knows our hearts' intent. Let us walk on this Earth like Jesus walked, and do the best we can to glorify Him in our bodies. Let us be holy as He is holy. Amen!
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
1 Peter 1:15-16
15-But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16-Because it is written, “Be ye holy; for I Am holy.”
Philippians 2:14-15
14-Do all things without murmurings and disputings
15-that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
James 1:19-20
19-Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath
20-for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Matthew 5:16
[Jesus said] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.
Micah 6:8
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
