Sometimes the Flesh needs Attention

Jesus is there for us in every problem giving us peace, care, and help- no matter the size of our troubles.

Sometimes, we think problems are so small or too big that Jesus is not able to take care of them. But that is not what His words say. He says come boldly to the throne of grace. Tell Him if you are sick, or have no money, even if someone talks bad about you. He is interested in every area of your life.

A few examples of this in my own life:

I was worried about going to the dentist and having mouth surgery because I am allergic to a lot of medications, but the Lord said, “Do not worry, it will be okay.” I went and had the surgery, and it went great! I did not get sick on the medication; I worried for nothing.

I moved from New York to Virginia, on faith because that was where He told me to go. My whole family prayed and Jesus guided us and supplied a home, jobs and a church. We walked in faith and trust in Him and He took care of the rest. He knows the beginning from the end and He will guide us through.

My children all had the measles together and my daughter got them in her throat. As I was sleeping the Lord woke me up and said, “Take your daughter to the hospital now.” When we got there, the doctors took one look at her throat, which was closing up from the measles, and immediately gave her medicine; thank God she got better. Who knows what could have happened to her if I did not listen to the Holy Spirit and take her right away.

These are just a few examples to encourage you that the Lord hears us. Let us walk in obedience and go to our Heavenly Father for help, He is always there to receive us.

Matthew 11:28-30

28-[Jesus said] “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29-Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30-For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

Philippians 4:6-7

6-Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7-And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

John 16:33

[Jesus said] “These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Hebrews 4:15-16

15-For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but [Jesus] was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16-Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
