To be a Vessel for God
The Word speaks of how we should be a servant unto Him. I learned that as a Christian we should put our brother first. I want to be my brother's keeper. Where there is sadness, I want to bring joy; where there is discouragement, I want to bring hope, and just let them know someone really cares. We must live a life directed by the Holy Spirit to put to death our flesh. If we just think about ourselves, we will not see clearly the needs of others. Let us ask God to help us and free us from selfishness, so that our life is free to bless others inside of God’s will. He will help us to accomplish this for His glory. I want to be a vessel for God to encourage the lost and lonely, that they may see Jesus in me. We are made by God for His good work. I thank you for using me, Lord. Please continue to do so as I write these blogs.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 Timothy 2:21
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
