Hold Fast to Your Salvation
Hebrews 2:1: Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest we should drift away.
Watch for the danger of neglect! When we get discouraged because prayers seem to be left unanswered, don’t give up; continue to praise, worship, pray, and read His Word. Satan wants us to give up, do not let him succeed! If you continue in Jesus, He will bring a great peace to your heart. Satan will try to creep in gradually and wear us down, so let us keep aware of his tactics, and put on the whole armor of God to prepare for the battle against him.
I am speaking for myself, there have been many times I became so weary, discouraged and confused. I had to learn to just surrender to Jesus and put my trust in Him completely. Then, His great peace came back again, but I was ashamed of myself for giving up so quickly the fight of faith. God in His loving mercy comes to encourage me in those times and my faith is not only renewed, but grows stronger.
Thank You, Lord for Your tender mercy that is new every day.
