Everyday, Rest in the Lord
When we give Him our burdens, we are trusting Him in our daily walk and can find peace in His loving care. It is so easy to forget to rest in Him. Our lives get so busy and overwhelming. Things happen that satan uses against us, lying to us and we believe him. This allows worry and anxiety to creep in-thoughts that are not of God. When this happens, that is the time we should go into prayer, and ask for help from Jesus. We need to put on the shield of faith and stand firm on His word. Fall on our face before Him and ask for His guidance. He is always there for us; even though there is so much evil in this world, He died so that we would have victory over it in the end. Let this inevitable victory bring you encouragement! Call a christian friend to pray together, for His Word tells us where two or more are together, He is there in the mist. He can stop fear from arising, and His peace will comfort us.
Jesus has always kept me when I walked through hard trials of life; He took me through the fire to victory on the other side of the flames. Members of my family said I would not make it, but I was not consumed. I am here to tell you, Jesus brought me through. I rested in Him and He fulfilled His promises to me time and time again. He is an awesome God, and I am a witness of His great love and power. Let Him into your heart and see your life transformed.
