Fruit of the Spirit
What is the fruit of the Spirit? Today’s verses in Galatians make it very clear for us. Let us follow Jesus as our example on this earth- totally and completely in the fruit of the Spirit. Jesus will guide us to live a holy life, as He is Holy and so shall we be holy. This is so important to our souls. Let’s walk as our Savior walked on this earth as a man, not sinning. Yes, we will make mistakes and sin, but repent honestly and wholeheartedly to our Heavenly Father, and go on! If we walk in the Holy Spirit, we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh; satan would like to destroy our walk in his hatred towards God and mankind. Let us stay at the foot of the cross with a humble spirit of worship and praise. That is the only place we will find our victory. It is one of the most important ways I found to stay close to Jesus when satan comes in like a flood to discourage us so we leave His path and follow our flesh. My older sister had a saying, “This world is a Me world,” and that is so very true. Let us Christians be the salt of the earth and think of others first. Through the cross at calvary we have won all victories in Him. Amen!
The scripture verses in Galatians are what God is calling us to do through Christ within us. It is possible because He loves us so much, so we obey His word. Pray for each other and help in whatever way is possible for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us not be weary in well-doing, for we will reap what we sow if we faint not, even if it takes years, just trust. Let us remember 1 John 2:1, which says, “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” I love you all in Christ Jesus! Thank you for visiting my blog. May God Bless you all!
Galatians 5:22 - 26
22-But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness,
23-meekness, self-control: against such there is no law.
24-And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25-If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
