Are We Grateful?

When I stop to consider the love of our Heavenly Father, my heart is so overwhelmed. He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us on the tree at Calvary. Because of this sacrifice, we now have a way to come before our Mighty God and an advocate in Christ Jesus.

Sometimes we don’t truly realize who our God is. He is the powerful Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, yet we are most important to Him in all creation. He made us; we should bow our knees before Him in worship and in praise, remembering that His mercy is good and endures forever. Amen.

Being thankful is more than just a feeling; it is a command and a large part of living a life fully for God. Even in difficult times, He calls us to remain grateful, trusting always in His goodness and looking forward to the day when we will get to join Him in Heaven. We are His children and will worship forever at His throne!

Lord, I bless Thy Holy name, for You have always taken care of me. You have always shown me Your lovingkindness, even in the very darkest times of my life. I was never alone; You were always with me, carrying me through to victory. My heart is full with thanksgiving. Thank you, God!
