God Sends His People To Help One Another
There were times in my life when I was very discouraged. When my husband died, I felt so lost. I was only saved for a short time, just a babe in Christ, and I had a lot to learn. I was very afraid; I felt so overwhelmed and alone. Something Jesus kept reinforcing to me was, “fear not for I am with you.” I was just getting to know Him and was weary of His words to me then. As I grew in Him and His Word, I remember He sent others to pray with me and for me. It was so refreshing as I learned to walk the road of trust in Him, to not feel so burdened by life’s troubles. I got to know Him as a Father and a friend. He sent brothers and sisters in Christ to help and support me and my children in the bad days. A simple word or even a smile was such encouragement to help me go forward and not feel so lonely after my husband’s loss.
It is so important to make ourselves available to help our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We must always keep an open and humble heart before the Lord, so he might direct our good works unto His glory. Prayer goes a long way, and a smile or hug shows love, understanding, and acceptance. That is why I write these blogs–to help encourage people all around the world to hold on, there is hope in Jesus! He is there with them and will help them through if they let Him into their hearts. I know for myself, reading Christian testimony books really helped show me I was not alone, others were having hard times also, with God carrying them through. I was touched by the testimony of others, and I want God to use me to touch others, showing them He is still on His Throne. He led me to write a book on my life, available at the My Book tab, called He Did It For Me, if you are interested in knowing more about my personal testimony of God carrying me through the most difficult times of my life. I pray to reach as many others as I can to show them the love and kindness of Christ, and to pay it forward in Jesus’ name. Through serving one another in love, we reflect the heart of Christ.
