Don’t Lose Respect For the Elderly

Let us spring our faith and walk with the elderly, their wisdom and add it to our new faith. The Bible teaches believers to honor, respect, and care for the older Christian generation. Let us listen to their Godly wisdom, and to treat them with love, humility and dignity. As we honor our elders, we honor the Lord who commands us to “rise up before the grey haired head” and to esteem those who have faithfully walked with the Lord. May we cherish the generations God has placed before us and learn from their faith in Christ Jesus. 

When he was alive, I loved to listen to my dad talk. I told him to write down his thoughts so I would always have them. He loved Jesus and always prayed for his five children. I pray my thoughts and faith encourage my kids and their kids now and when I am gone. 

May we value the wisdom the elderly share and pass on a Godly heritage to those who follow after us.

2-The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

Proverbs 16:31

The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
