His love nerve fails us, never leaves us, and never gives up on us. His love was shown through Jesus Christ, for while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. His perfect love gives us forgiveness, peace, hope and everlasting life in Him. God’s love is not based on how perfect we are, as He loved us when we were sinners. He sent His Son to save us, forgives us when we repent, and promises that nothing can separate us from His love in Christ.
I remember the day I got saved. I had company over and we were partying. The song "Amazing Grace" came on a rock and roll radio station. I thought that was odd, and it caught my attention and my heart. I was never the same after. Jesus asked me if I wanted to get saved and serve Him in that hour. It was so real that I left my company, went into my bedroom, got down on my knees and gave Him my heart. It was so real and raw that until this day, I remember it like it just happened yesterday. I was a sinner, and He came in with such great love to choose me at that moment. I love Him because He first loved me, even though I did not deserve it.
1 John 4:16-18
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and He that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
John 15:9
[Jesus said] As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.
Ephesians 3:18-19
[That ye] may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
