Sing Him Praises

I love to sing praises to the Lord, especially when I am down. It brightens my day and lifts me up. We all get down at times in our lives, at those times satan likes to attack us and steal our joy, which is our strength. I will put on gospel music and start to praise God. Before I know it, He raises me up from sad to happy. I have favorite songs that touch my heart and I play them over and over. Gospel music is gospel put to music, so it lifts us up through the Word. I love to pray for people as the Lord leads me, and He stretches His hand towards them and victory comes to them. Jesus knows we are weak, so He goes to His Father to pray for us, then a calm peace and a joy shall follow. Jesus has walked on this Earth as a man and He understands us.
