LONELINESS

When my husband was alive, we always slept holding each other. If he rolled over, I would also. After he died, I missed that companionship a lot. Jesus showed me to listen to the Bible on a CD player. From his death until today, Jesus has provided me with comfort and companionship. He showed me He is and always was present, even when I felt lonely. His comforting assurance was always there with me, and He gave me the strength to go on. Today’s verses are still true today: bow your head and call on Him. You do not have to feel lonely anymore. Jesus is waiting for you!

Deuteronomy 31:6

Psalm 27:10

When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

Matthew 28:20

[Jesus said] “…and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Amen
